Putting Alabama First - Martha Roby for Congress

Alabama Farmers Federation Endorses Roby

Posted to Media on May. 3, 2018

MONTGOMERY, AL – The Alabama Farmers Federation (ALFA), the state’s largest farm organization comprised of more than 360,000 members, this week endorsed U.S. Representative Martha Roby (R-AL) for reelection and cited her support for the agriculture community in Alabama’s Second Congressional District.

Alabama Farmers Federation President Jimmy Parnell praised Roby’s work on behalf of Alabama’s farmers in Congress:

“The Alabama Farmers Federation is fortunate to have a true friend of farmers in Representative Martha Roby. She not only understands the issues facing the agriculture community, but she is also extremely responsive to the needs of the members we serve.  We are proud to stand by Martha Roby and continue to support her as she works on behalf of the people of Alabama’s Second District.”

Representative Roby thanked the Alabama Farmers Federation for its key endorsement:

“Agriculture is the largest employer in Alabama’s Second District, and I know how important it is for our farmers to have someone willing to fight on their behalf in Washington as they continue to provide food and fiber for the world. I am grateful to have the strong support of the Alabama Farmers Federation, and I look forward to continuing to stand up for all of Alabama’s farmers in Congress.”
